Rona is a human centered multidisciplinary product/industrial designer and, creative director and design strategist

The founder and lead designer behind Designers in the Middle & kukka brands , Rona has over two decades of experience in the design industry designing meaningful products and responsible for creative content creation for brands, consumers, and installations. Rona is a design thinker, focused on turning ideas into reality.

After working in Milan and in London in different design consultancies leading award winning projects, In 2007 she founded her design studio, and established ‘Kukka’ design brand. kukka products sold in museums & retail shops, department stores such as La Rinascente, Selfridges, Paul Smith, Conran. Other clients are coming from the hotel, restaurant, hospitality, cultural, retail, Office and Private sectors including; Caesarstone, The Autograph Collection hotel group, BioHouse, Amorim, iMesh, LG.
Her democratic approach, and honest design are recognizable within Rona’s style and work. Her design studio is underpinned by creative stimulation, her expertise lies with product development, strategic direction, problem solving R&D production & fabrication. Rona was tutor in Domain De Boisbuchet in 2016, a lecturer in Shenkar institute of art and design, HIT, Plymouth University and often invited to participate in international talks programs such as at the V&A, Design Museum London, Aga Khan centre and the Javits centre.
In June 2021 Rona was the creative director and curator of the Designers in the middle pavilion during the London Design Biennale 2021 at the Somerset house, London.

Rona has a Master in Industrial Design from the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan and UX diploma
