Rona Meyuchas Koblenz is a multidisciplinary designer, creative director, and curator whose work explores the relationship between culture, craftsmanship, and contemporary living.

Graduating with an MA in Industrial Design from the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan in 1999, she began her career working with leading lighting brands and design studios in Milan and London. She later joined Isometrix Lighting + Design in London, specializing in the design of bespoke luminaires for internationally acclaimed architectural projects. During this period, she collaborated with renowned architects including Herzog & de Meuron, Zaha Hadid, John Pawson, and Tadao Ando, as well as artist James Turrell, contributing to landmark hospitality, cultural, and institutional projects worldwide.

In 2006, she founded her independent design studio in London. Her approach is rooted in the belief that every project should emerge from its cultural and environmental context, balancing clarity, purpose, and enduring relevance. Working across furniture, lighting, interiors, installations, and creative direction, she creates thoughtful and refined design solutions that bridge tradition and innovation. In 2015, she founded Designers in the Middle, a platform dedicated to fostering cultural dialogue and creative exchange through design across the Middle East and North Africa. In 2018, she founded KUKKA, a design brand exploring contemporary craftsmanship and material-led design.
In 2021, she curated and served as Creative Director of the Designers in the Middle Pavilion at the London Design Biennale, bringing together designers from across the region in a landmark exhibition exploring shared narratives and cultural identity.

Today, her practice spans bespoke commissions, industrial production, curatorial projects, and large-scale design initiatives, united by a commitment to craftsmanship, cultural storytelling, and timeless design.
